How many MLAs support Jagan's new party?

How many MLA's support Jagan new party?

Finally expectation came true. Congress MP from Kadapa Y S Jaganmohan Reddy on Monday resigned from his MP seat, expressing anguish over the Congress high command’s attempt to isolate him and split his family.

Jagan faxed his letter to Lok Sabha Speaker and also party president Sonia Gandhi. His mother Y S Vijayalakshmi, who represents Pulivendula assembly constituency in Kadapa, is also believed to have resigned from her assembly membership. Both of them are also likely to quit the party post.

Y S Jaganmohan Reddy told to his followers clearly that the high command is planning to kick him out. So, it is better to resign than being shunted out, say sources close to Jagan. Besides, he also felt upset with the high command inviting Praja Rajyam Party to join the cabinet.

Jagan have support of at least two dozen Congress party MLAs. The Congress has already geared itself up for any eventuality and is likely to seek support of PRP & Majlis Ittehad-e-Musalameen.

His supporters have taken to streets in Hyderabad. They said that there is no immediate plan to float a new party. He is going to his father’s grave and at present is not likely to destabilize the government.

There is a big question in all the people, How many MLA's support Jagan new party?
